Rijkswaterstaat purchases ATLIS SENS Distribution

Rijkswaterstaat has purchased ATLIS SENS Distribution / BathyWeb, including ChartServer from HydroTeam partner SevenCs.

ChartServer:

ChartServer is a service which generates geo-referenced images of S-57 based navigational charts, e.g. ENCs or IENCs. It allows Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to develop their own clients which access the service of the ChartServer.
A client can either be a stand-alone or web based application. The protocol for the client/server communication is based on the Web Map Service (WMS)

Key Features

• Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant Web Mapping Server (WMS)
• Support of key S-57 products ENC, IENC and AML
• Support of official ENCs in S-63 encrypted format
• Images displayed according to the IHO S-52 and InlandECDIS Standard
• Support of nautical raster charts, e.g. ARCS and BSB
• Integration of sensor data (AIS, ARPS, NMEA)
• Integration of other definable WMS data services
• Accessible from any OGC compliant WMS clients
• Support of various key nautical chart projections
• SevenCs world data set for back-drop applications

Those who are interested to use a ready-to-use rendering engine for S-57 data, which meets the complex standards for the different S-57 based navigational charts, should make use of a trial version.
